Role Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Group Exercise Instructors to join our team. As an instructor, you will be responsible for leading classes and creating an inclusive fitness community.

Genesis Fitness is a national network with 24-hour access to over 40 locations across Australia. We offer a variety of exercise options and value inclusivity, encouragement, and empowerment.

Requirements

We require instructors who are passionate, skilled, and ready to lead classes. Qualifications in areas such as Schwinn Cycle, Freestyle, Yoga, Pilates, Barre, or Zumba are necessary. Additionally, we need individuals with excellent communication skills, commitment to customer service, and relevant certifications.

  • Commitment to customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module, or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL)
  • Willingness to complete Freestyle Instructor course if needed
  • Working with Children's Check
  • Current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Infection Control Training (COVID-19)
  • Relevant Program Certification (Yoga, Barre, Boxing, Zumba, Pilates, etc.)
  • Participation in in-house training
  • Fitness registration with Fitness Australia or relevant body preferred
  • Police check as part of employment
  • Friendly, can-do attitude and availability for evenings and weekends
