Job Title: Electronic Security Specialist

The Electronic Security Service Technician role involves servicing and maintaining Alarm, Access Control, Intercom and CCTV equipment throughout the Sydney region. This position requires installation, maintenance and commissioning of third-party equipment to ensure customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients.

This role requires the following responsibilities:

  • Service and maintain Alarm / CCTV / Access Control / Intercom Systems throughout the Sydney region
  • Installation, maintenance and commissioning of third-party equipment
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients
  • Determine positioning and connections for equipment to be installed
  • Locate faults in telecommunications equipment using instruments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters and transmission measuring equipment
  • Attach wires and cables to devises
  • Adjusting, replacing and repairing faulty items, and testing equipment using electronic instruments

The following qualifications are required for this position:

  • Hold Current NSW 2C Security Licence
  • Current Class C Drivers License
  • Current Class 2C Security License
  • Current WorkCover General Induction Card
  • Current Cabling Registration
  • Current Elevated Work Platform Card
