Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Health Data Specialist to join our team at Monash Medical Centre - Clayton. As a key member of our data management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our clinical data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain outpatient clinic scheduling templates within our integrated patient management system
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with Victorian Integrated Non-Admitted Health (VINAH) reporting requirements and Medicare Australia billing guidelines
- Design and deliver training programs to educate staff on standardized procedures for data management and reporting
- Test and validate key functionality related to the Outpatients module with system upgrades and releases
- Travel to other Monash Health sites as required to support data management initiatives
Requirements
- Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with experience in developing reference documentation and presenting information to various audiences
- A willingness to learn and adapt to an ever-evolving environment
