Dispensary Pharmaceutical Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our team in Sydney.
About the Role
- The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions and providing proper counselling under the guidance of a Pharmacist.
- This role involves taking and reviewing prescription information, measuring medications and labelling the prescription bottle/pack under supervision.
- Maintenance of records of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies is also essential.
- The selected individual will be required to record details of instructions, storage conditions of medications and deliver them to patients.
Requirements:
- A minimum Diploma level in a relevant field or at least 3 years of experience working in a pharmacy dispensary.
- Experience with dispensing prescriptions using software systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A thorough knowledge of over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription medications is expected.
