In this role, you will deliver comprehensive pastoral care services to residents and their families, ensuring that spiritual and emotional needs are met. Collaboration with the service manager and other staff members is essential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Pastoral Care (Clinical Pastoral Education, Theology, or Spirituality)
  • Previous experience in pastoral roles within aged care settings is highly valued
  • Ability to embody the values of compassion, honesty, hospitality, respect, and excellence
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to create detailed pastoral care plans
  • Qualifications in counseling are advantageous
  • Experience in leading Ecumenical Church services is a plus
  • NDIS Check or willingness to obtain
