Pipeline Engineering Manager
About the Role:This pipeline engineering leadership position involves technical direction across FEED and detailed design stages for oil and gas pipelines, encompassing calculations.
We are seeking a Pipeline Engineering Manager with a passion for delivering engineering excellence in a collaborative environment with diverse clients and projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical direction on FEED and detailed design stages for oil and gas pipelines.
- Develop scoping documents such as routing studies, construction methodology, design criteria and alignment sheets.
- Participate in risk assessment and associated workshops.
- Write and review cost estimates, equipment summaries and tender packages.
- Prepare technical reports as required.
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical.
- 7+ years of experience in pipeline concept development, FEED, detail design and operational phases.
- In-depth knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian Standards, acts, regulations and codes related to the pipeline industry.
- CPEng / RPEQ registration.
- Knowledge of pipeline integrity.
- Experience leading or mentoring junior engineers.
- Ability to perform engineering detailed design tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and strong report writing abilities.
- Ability to manage time and work independently.
