Job Overview

This key role plays a pivotal part in ensuring major and minor capital works projects are delivered safely, sustainably, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Management, WHS or related discipline (minimum Diploma level)
  • In-depth knowledge of WHS and environmental legislation, including Work Health and Safety Act 2011, Environmental Protection Act, PFAS NEMP and relevant codes of practice
  • Proven technical capability in areas such as PFAS contamination, soil classification, water quality and waste tracking
  • Experience managing high-risk construction activities, such as confined space, working at heights, plant operation and hot works
  • Familiarity with airport environments or similarly regulated operational settings (desirable)
  • Strong skills in reading and acting on technical environmental and safety reports (e.g. soil, water, incident investigations)
