Senior Accounting Expert

The Senior Accounting Expert plays a pivotal part in empowering our sales team. This role involves utilizing accounting knowledge and training in innovative ways to enhance the sales process.

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for seasoned accounting professionals who are passionate about working with accounting teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating our solutions to prospects and existing clients as a product and accounting expert.

  • Demonstrate our solutions to prospects and existing clients as a product and accounting expert.
  • Participate in remote and on-site demonstration meetings with sales reps to answer technical and operational accounting questions.
  • Enhance the sales team's accounting knowledge to better understand and meet prospect needs.
  • Coach sales team members on effective strategies, positioning, and objection handling.
  • Lead internal training sessions to improve accounting knowledge.
  • Analyze sales cycle data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with product, support, and setup teams to understand development roadmaps and support inquiries.
  • Communicate the cultural and intangible impacts experienced by sales reps.
  • Improve overall email etiquette and communication skills.
  • Provide insights into why current clients chose us, including experiences and stories.
  • Assist the partnership and consulting teams in demonstrations for PE and CPA firms.
  • Support Customer Success by joining calls to address accounting and app-related questions.
  • Develop training content to enhance the sales team's knowledge.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the competitive landscape to serve as a subject matter expert.
  • Revise and organize sales collateral as needed.
About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who possesses strong industry accounting experience, especially in month-end close processes. You should be a team-oriented professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
