About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Production Line Specialist to join our team at The Smith's Snackfood Company, a leading manufacturer of snack foods in Australia. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery equipment, maintaining a continuous flow of product, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating and maintaining automated machinery, including palletising and robot operation
  • Troubleshooting and monitoring production lines, equipment calibration, and monitoring
  • Managing production schedules, inventory, and quality control
  • Preparing and completing accurate records, including production reports and quality control documentation
  • Cleaning and maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, with a focus on automated machinery and production line operations
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on quality assurance and safety
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting production deadlines
  • Experience with SAP or similar production management software is an advantage
