Senior Operations Leader

As a Deputy Commissioner in the Frontline Operations Group, you will play a critical role in leading strategic design, planning, and delivery of frontline operations on behalf of the ATO for all segments of the community.

You will be responsible for leading large and diverse teams to achieve organisational outcomes, implementing programs to drive improved tax, superannuation, and registry system performance, and developing trusted relationships with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be adept at change management, and have a passion for improving taxpayer experiences.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead large and diverse teams to achieve organisational outcomes
  • Implement programs to drive improved tax, superannuation, and registry system performance
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with peers and across the APS to deliver organisational outcomes
