Occupational Therapist

As a member of the Division of Rehabilitation, Aged Care and Palliative Care, the Occupational Therapist plays a crucial role in providing services at the Repat Health Precinct and relevant sites within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network.
Key Responsibilities- Providing specialised clinical Occupational Therapy services to maximise occupational outcomes of inpatients with neurological, orthopaedic, surgical and medical conditions, and NDIS patients admitted to the inpatient beds of Transition Services.
- Collaborating and documenting with team members to initiate, develop, implement and evaluate therapy/activity groups.
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills to join our team.
- A degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Broad experience and clinical expertise in the provision of clinical Occupational Therapy services (assessment, development and provision of therapy interventions/programs) to clients with a range of disorders and disabilities.
- Experience in the supervision of Occupational Therapy staff and therapy assistants.
- Demonstrated ability to assume responsibility for the provision of clinical Occupational Therapy services to a designated area as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
