About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Annecto. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care services to individuals with disabilities, supporting them to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to people with disabilities, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support clients to engage in activities that are important to them, such as hobbies, social events, and community participation.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other support workers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment, promoting the rights and dignity of all individuals.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with people with disabilities, preferably in a support worker role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current police check, NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance, and First Aid/CPR qualifications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
