Job Title: Disability Support WorkerWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Disability Support Worker to join our team in Melbourne. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with community access and recreational activities
- Provide personal care, including showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance
- Support with manual handling and the use of wheelchairs and hoists
- Transport participants to social engagements and appointments
- Assist with light domestic duties, such as meal preparation and cleaning
- Provide behavioural and mental health support
- Professional or lived experience supporting someone with a disability
- Understanding of the disability sector and person-centred support
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach
