Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator/Forklift Specialist to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and running various machinery, including large extruder machines, Coilers, Stackers, and overhead cranes.

You will work under your supervisor and be involved in all aspects of plastic pipe production. This includes operating hand tools, electric strapping tools, and forklifts. Quality checks will also be a daily part of your role.

To succeed in this position, you will need proven experience operating machinery on a busy production line, previous manufacturing experience, and expertise working with plastic materials. A valid forklift license or experience operating a forklift is essential.

A mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills are required. Additionally, a strong commitment to workplace safety is crucial, as well as the ability to lift weights up to 30kg and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

It is also necessary to pass a drug and alcohol test and provide a current police clearance.
