About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for assigning the work program to our planning team, ensuring strong support for maintenance and fault-related tasks. Key responsibilities include:
- Plan and schedule work several weeks in advance.
- Establish high-level maintenance plans and schedule rolling work for 6-8 weeks.
- Manage and adapt to schedule changes.
- Finalise work orders accurately and efficiently, communicating job status to customers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with planning and field teams to maximise crew efficiency.
- Allocate maintenance and fault work to planners.
- Assist with fault response planning and reschedule incomplete tasks.
- Experience in resource scheduling and planning is essential.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.
- Adapting to a fast-paced environment is necessary.
- A basic understanding of the electrical industry is preferred but not essential.
