We are seeking a talented software developer to join our team as a Backend Developer. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in building scalable and secure backend systems to support our applications and client projects.

In this role, you will work closely with frontend developers, project managers, and the customer success team to deliver high-quality solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services and APIs using PHP and Laravel programming languages and frameworks.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have a strong understanding of backend technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering reliable and efficient software systems. You will also need to be familiar with cloud platforms, version control systems, and RESTful API design.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience as a backend developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects. They will be proficient in backend programming languages and frameworks, have a solid understanding of database management systems, and be familiar with microservices architecture.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
  • Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
  • Collaborate with project management and customer success teams to ensure backend systems align with user needs and business objectives.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using PHP and Laravel programming languages and frameworks.
  • Implement and manage relational database solutions and query optimisation.
  • Optimise system performance and reliability by addressing bottlenecks and ensuring scalability.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs as required by project needs.
  • Experience with queue and job management, schedulers, error handling, and debugging.
  • Knowledge of deployment and basic server management.
