About the Opportunity
  • This role offers an invaluable chance to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios, furthering your professional development and expanding your skillset.
Key Responsibilities
  • You will undertake tangible legal work including drafting correspondence, conducting research, attending court proceedings, and participating in client meetings.
  • Contribute to business development activities and complete tasks for our Pro Bono team.
  • Attend in-house seminars to enhance your professional skills.
  • Nurture relationships with partners, lawyers, and current Law Graduates to gain valuable insights into their experiences.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities such as social club events and end-of-month celebrations.
  • Work closely with a mentor and buddy to maximise the learning experience.
Requirements
  • You must be in your penultimate or final year of an Australian law degree.
  • Identify as a member of one or more First Nations of Australia.
  • Demonstrate a strong academic record.
  • Show previous work experience, a commitment to commercial law, and involvement in the community (such as volunteer work, travel, sporting, or cultural interests).
  • Exhibit personable, insightful, and intelligent qualities with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Value a collegiate environment and work/life balance.
