">As a seasoned Laboratory Shift Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our laboratory shift crews. This critical role involves ensuring timely completion of workloads and adherence to quality control procedures.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Provide guidance and oversight to laboratory personnel in meeting established deadlines and adhering to protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, including quality control measures and procedure updates.
- Develop and document new laboratory procedures, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
- Address technical issues promptly and effectively, utilizing problem-solving skills to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate routine maintenance tasks for laboratory equipment and delegate housekeeping duties.
- Offer mentorship support to junior laboratory staff members, enhancing their skill sets and contributing to a positive working environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
">- Relevant tertiary qualification in Laboratory Sciences or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership position within a laboratory setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and information exchange.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs and relevant software applications.
- Leadership and training abilities, with a focus on developing staff capabilities.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in laboratory analysis and instrumentation.
- Comprehensive understanding of industry regulations and quality procedures.
