Job SummaryWe are seeking a Security Officer to work in the Shellharbour area. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting foot patrols, ensuring property is locked and unlocked, and directing visitors and public to navigate around the region.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct foot patrols to ensure the security of the premises
- Ensure property is locked and unlocked as required
- Direct and help visitors and public to navigate around the region
- Write reports in response to incidents
- Communicate calmly and clearly with key stakeholders
- Manage visitors and maintain key registers and issue key passes
- Certificate II in Security Operations and current First Aid certificate
- Current NSW Security licence
- Dedication, reliability, and a commitment to security
- Physically fit and able to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with approachability
- High level computer literacy skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
- Attractive hourly rates on offer + shift penalties
- Rotating roster
- Level 2 SSIA
