About the PositionWe are currently recruiting for an experienced General/Yard Hand to join our team at the Select Plant Australia - Laverton North Depot on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities- Assist various tradespersons in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Support the loading and unloading of items/materials, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, move pallets, and maintain a clean and organized yard.
- Clean and maintain various equipment/machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform general yard duties to support the smooth operation of the depot.
To be successful in this role, you will have 1+ years of experience, be safety-oriented, motivated, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills.
You will also need to hold the minimum requirements below:
- Forklift Ticket
- Australian Driver's Licence - Manual C Class (minimum)
- Australian Construction Induction Card (Blue/White Card)
