About the Role:

Yard Hand

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Yard Hand to coordinate our inventory, support our workshop and site operations, and ensure the smooth running of our modern Select Plant Australia - Laverton North Depot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the incoming and outgoing deliveries, traffic, and general storage of plant and equipment.
  • Report machinery faults and safety concerns.
  • Accurately complete paperwork as required by stores and workshop team.
  • Monitor yard access, coordinating safe and efficient traffic flow, and minimise congestion.
  • Perform prestart checks on plant and equipment.

About You:

The successful applicant will have experience in a similar role in a logistics, plant hire or construction environment. You will be safety orientated, motivated, reliable, and have excellent communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Australian driver's licence – Manual C Class (minimum).
  • Australian Construction Induction Card (Blue/White Card).
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Current Forklift ticket
  • Intermediate computer literacy
  • Physically Fit
  • Willingness to learn/upskill to add value to the Select Operations support team.
