About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Everyday Independence. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing life-changing occupational therapy to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to achieve their goals and maximize their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding
  • Work in diverse settings, including homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces, and community centers, to provide occupational therapy services
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of allied health professionals to provide comprehensive support to participants
  • Build meaningful relationships with participants and their support networks, including family, carers, and friends
  • Attend regular team meetings to share knowledge, best practices, and success stories

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • General AHPRA Registration
  • Positive and flexible approach to work

  • Working with Children's Check
  • Experience working in NDIS/disability is preferred, but not essential
