Job Opportunity:

The Belt Splicing Workshop Supervisor is a critical leadership role responsible for managing and developing the WA Field Service team in the Kwinana Workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of experienced belt splicers, conducting performance evaluations and identifying future supervisors/leaders and mentors.
  • Coordinate and run safety meetings, ensuring all equipment is compliant with site requirements.
  • Manage and maintain belt splicing equipment, ensuring it is regularly tested and tagged.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and ensure effective communication across all levels.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in belt splicing and supervisory roles within a workshop/mine environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
