CNC Machinist Job Description

As a skilled CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by operating complex machinery and ensuring high-quality components are produced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming and setting up CNC Mills using Fanuc, Okuma, and Haas Controls
  • Conducting quality assurance checks on components using precision measuring equipment
  • Communicating with the Machine Shop Supervisor regarding improvement projects
  • Reviewing job packs and drawings to ensure accurate production

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with programming and setting Fanuc/Okuma controls
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling, drafting, and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM)
  • Attention to detail and methodical approach
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
