Job Description:

As an Environmental Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Environmental Services Department. This includes ensuring department responsibilities are met with excellence, tasks involving cleaning, patient transport, hygiene, linen and more.

This role requires a highly organized individual capable of managing conflicting priorities, with exceptional communication and leadership skills to consistently deliver outstanding service.

The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of all processes and practices, as well as oversee and motivate staff to achieve organizational goals.

Additionally, you will work in a rotating shift environment, requiring your ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a supervisor
  • Previous cleaning experience in a hospital or hotel setting highly regarded
  • Proven ability as an effective role model, displaying positive attitude and appropriate behavior
  • Ability to analyze data and situations and suggest recommendations for improvement
  • Commitment to ensuring quality services are delivered to both internal and external clients through continuous improvement activities
  • Intermediate computer skills including experience with Microsoft suite of programs
