Position: Senior Structural Engineer (Oil & Gas)

Wood Plc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Darwin, NT. This is a permanent role within our expanding Oil and Gas Operations team, driven by the recent acquisition of several large projects with existing long-term clients.

We deliver a range of services including:

  1. Engineering & brownfield modifications
  2. Operations & maintenance
  3. Procurement
  4. Construction
  5. Asset management and optimization
  6. Technical services to the Oil & Gas sector

We work closely with prominent producers in the Northern Territory, Western Australia, and South-East Asia.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Residency (PR). You will also require:

  • 6+ years relevant experience as a Structural Engineer in Oil & Gas
  • Experience in an Offshore site environment and site surveying/scoping
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Experience in the use of relevant software packages (e.g. SACS, StaadPro)
  • Experience in the use of API, AISC, and ISO design codes
