Job Title: Roofing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Roofing Specialist to join our team in Cairns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install roofing systems, guttering, downpipes, flashings, and rainwater goods on steel-framed buildings
  • Fit and connect stormwater plumbing systems in compliance with relevant codes
  • Install metal roofing on steel-framed structures
  • Install insulation, cladding, and roofing materials to required standards
  • Interpret roofing layouts, construction drawings, and site plans accurately
  • Work closely with builders, metal fabricators, and other trades to coordinate project delivery
  • Operate tools and machinery safely, including drills, grinders, welders, cutters, and elevated work platforms (EWPs)
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and rectify any installation defects
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Work Health and Safety regulations
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English with supervisors, clients, and team members
