Trades Assistant/Work Execution Officer Role

We are seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to support the delivery of Defence Fuel Network services across Australian Defence bases nationwide.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and maintaining equipment, collaborating with maintenance technicians in field works and coordinating contractors for various projects.
  • Managing maintenance documentation on Computerised Maintenance Management System and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Developing and implementing work plans, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in labouring or trade (mechanical) roles, preferably with SAP based Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Holding current Defence Security Clearance is a requirement.
