Intermediate Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with senior staff and clients, manage compliance tasks, and support junior team members.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Tax Returns and Compliance: Prepare accurate tax returns, BAS, IAS, and financial statements.
  • Tax Planning and Advisory Support: Deliver expert tax planning and business advisory services to clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Communicate effectively with regulatory bodies.
  • Mentorship and System Improvement: Mentor junior team members, improving internal systems and processes.

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant Experience: 2-4 years' experience in public practice, preferably as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).
  • Strong Accounting Knowledge: In-depth understanding of tax compliance and accounting principles.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Confident communicator with a client-centric approach.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in relevant software.
