Experienced Senior Accountants are sought after to provide expert accounting, taxation and bookkeeping services to clients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a trusted and well-established firm, we offer a premium career opportunity for an experienced public accountant to take the next step in their career.

About the Position
  • Prepare Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Companies, and Trusts.
  • Develop Financial Statements for the aforementioned entities.
  • Review the above documents, as well as BAS and IASs, for junior and offshore staff members.
  • Review SMSF Financial Statements and handle auditor queries for same.
  • Gain exposure to various taxation matters, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Division 7A.
  • Collaborate on Tax Planning and other ad-hoc consulting and advisory engagements.
  • Liaise with clients and external agencies.
  • Provide accounting, taxation, and bookkeeping support to clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field (mandatory).
  • Professional certifications: CA, CPA, or CTA (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in preparing tax returns, financial statements, complex accounting tasks, financial analysis, and management reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in liaising with government body organisations such as the ATO.
  • Ability to guide tax planning and strategies to optimise financial outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a capability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff when needed.
