Environmental Scientist, Contaminated Land

This role is focused on managing contaminated land projects across Western Australia and Australia. As an environmental scientist, you will be responsible for planning sampling designs, coordinating field programs, and leading field programs to implement soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling.

  • Develop reports with high technical standards;
  • Collaborate with the team to meet client expectations;
  • Provide support for proposal and project management in contaminated land teams;

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead contaminated land projects from planning to completion;
  • Manage and coordinate field-based activities;
  • Implement soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling strategies;

About the Role:

  • A degree in environmental engineering or science disciplines;
  • Relevant experience in undertaking contaminated land and/or groundwater investigations;
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to health and safety;
  • A detailed understanding of current and emerging National and Western Australian legislation, standards, and guidelines for contaminated land;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills;
  • A current driver's license;
