Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified and experienced industrial blasters/painters to work on various engineering projects in the Port Botany area. The role involves utilizing skills in abrasive blasting, painting, and surface preparation.

The ideal candidates will have some of the following experience:

  • Abrasive blasting of steel using Garnet/Water and mechanical prep
  • Internal tank linings experience
  • Plural component experience
  • Relevant trade qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application)
  • High-risk work licenses (e.g. CSE, EWP)
Key Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in high-risk environments

Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals

Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently

Requirements

Current legal right to work in Australia

Valid high-risk work licenses (e.g. CSE, EWP)

Relevant trade qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application)
