Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled insurance industry professional to join our team in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clients with expert legal advice on insurance matters
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant case law and legislative changes
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to deliver timely and accurate advice
  • Manage a demanding workload, prioritizing tasks and delivering high-quality services
  • Develop a deep understanding of client operations and strategy
  • Mentor and develop junior staff members
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and manage MCLE requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' PQE with experience in professional indemnity matters
  • A strong desire to be part of a cohesive and dynamic team
  • Ability to handle large volumes of documents
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Practical problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Experience in business development and building strong client relationships
  • Ability to manage client expectations and work autonomously
  • Commitment to establishing a long-term successful career
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Commercial acumen and focus on turnaround time
