Optimize Store Spaces

At BIG W, we are seeking an exceptional individual to lead the optimization of floor space across our stores. This newly created role combines deep analytical capability with strong commercial acumen to create engaging shopping experiences for our customers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing retail spaces and a proven track record in delivering major transformation initiatives. They will be responsible for evolving our store blueprint, improving technical capabilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize return on space for new stores, renewal, and strategic projects
  • Evolving the Big W store blueprint and inclusion matrix ensuring alignment to our strategic goals
  • Constantly improving all technical capabilities required to deliver a market-leading Macro space capability

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in leadership roles managing retail space
  • Proven ability to deliver major transformation initiatives
  • Deep technical & retail skills
  • Proven track record working in an Agile environment
