Early Childhood Educator Trainee

 

Job Description:

This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in early childhood education while working under the supervision of experienced childcare professionals. As an Early Childhood Trainee Diploma Educator, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of the childcare centre, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children.

You will also be well-supported in your role by our Education Leader/ECT and Service Leader who will mentor and support you through your learning journey. This includes providing guidance on daily tasks and responsibilities as well as offering opportunities for professional growth and development.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • An approved Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority qualification, Diploma (see list of approved qualifications)
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates- or willingness to obtain them
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check
