Plastic Surgery Registrar Opportunity

The Department of Plastic Surgery at Canberra Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated plastic surgery registrar to join our team. As a registrar, you will be responsible for supporting the clinical service provided by the department, including regular outpatient sessions, ward rounds, and on-call duties.

  • Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting
  • Assist with surgical procedures and post-operative care
  • Participate in educational activities, including teaching medical students and assisting in postgraduate training
  • Contribute to research activities as appropriate

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the clinical service provided by the Department of Plastic Surgery
  2. Contribute to the education and training of medical students and postgraduate trainees
  3. Participate in research activities and contribute to the publication of results
