Asset Inspector

The role involves ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of maintenance works across our road network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections to assure the quality of maintenance works on assets.
  • Identify defects, non-conformances, and prepare detailed repair reports.
  • Manage work orders, asset data, and compliance audits in a centralized system.
  • Monitor and report on health, safety, and environmental standards, recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, working closely with community teams.
  • Engage with contractors and service providers to ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Provide technical advice, condition assessments, and compliance reporting as required.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in engineering management, asset risk, and HSE in maintenance environments.
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to engage, negotiate, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
