We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Asset Professional to lead our electrical asset management team. This role will be responsible for providing direction and support for electrical assets across water, recycled water, wastewater & stormwater systems to achieve customer, shareholder and regulatory requirements within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Asset Management: Lead the planning and execution of condition assessments and renewal strategies for HV and LV electrical assets. Monitor asset performance and oversee maintenance and renewal strategies.
  • Operational Support: Manage electrical asset risks for operational and planned assets. Provide technical electrical support to operational teams to ensure reliability and availability targets are met.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide specialist engineering advice on electrical assets, including failure investigations, non-compliance identification, and corrective actions.
  • Electrical Safety: Lead initiatives to improve electrical safety for the business and ensure compliance to electrical standards, acts, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in electrical engineering or a related discipline or suitable industry experience in the electrical field.
  • Understanding of treatment processes/product quality and operating assets/systems for delivering water and recycled water/stormwater products that meet customer expectations.
  • Extensive experience in developing and reviewing complex reports, strategies or plans for regulators, stakeholders or senior managers.
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in managing electrical assets.
