Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Lady Davidson Private Hospital. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will play a vital role in delivering best practice exercise prescription to our in-patients, day-patients, and community class participants.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement exercise programs for patients with various conditions, including orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, and general medical.
- Work collaboratively with a dynamic and passionate rehab team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient fitness levels and develop personalized exercise plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on exercise and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Recognised degree in Exercise Physiology.
- Registration with ESSA.
- Exceptional time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proven excellence in customer service delivery.
- Experience working in a hospital setting and with NDIS participants would be an advantage.
