We are seeking a caring Exercise Physiologist to join our community team in Port Stephens. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and build the exercise physiology service with support from a highly experienced lead Physiotherapist and multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

As an Exercise Physiologist, you will provide mobile therapy to those living in residential care homes and the community. You will see clients with DVA and Commonwealth Home Care Packages, as well as some private and NDIS clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and treating older adults in a community-based environment
  • Developing effective exercise programs to assist clients in achieving their individual goals
  • Falls management and prevention
  • Running various groups, including balance classes
  • Producing quality reports
  • Ensuring the effective and safe delivery of client care
  • Developing your skillset, participating in CPD and multi-disciplinary clinical review meetings
What We Offer

We offer a supportive multi-disciplinary team environment, admin support, and mentoring. You will have a diverse caseload and work in an autonomous environment. Ongoing leadership development and coaching are also available.

We are looking for an Exercise Physiologist with:

  • Relevant qualification in Exercise Physiology
  • ESSA registration
  • A passion for high-quality service delivery
  • Previous experience is desirable
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Current driver's licence and reliable car
  • NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance)
