SHEQ Specialist

GenusPlus Group is seeking a skilled SHEQ Officer to support all facets of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality operations. Based in Dandenong South, the role involves coordinating and overseeing the implementation of the company's SHEQ policies to meet business objectives.

• Conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Maintaining company registers to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Assisting in creating, implementing, and closing out of audit action plans to drive continuous improvement.
• Developing and implementing risk assessments and management plans to mitigate potential hazards.
• Delivering SHEQ improvement programs and communications to promote a culture of safety and quality.
• Leading high-quality incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collecting, analyzing, managing, and reporting on SHEQ data to inform business decisions.

• Cert IV WHS/OHS or higher.
• 1+ years experience in a related field.
• First Aid and CPR Training.
• Initiate and organize OHS training, meetings, and inductions for employees and subcontractors.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in safety and health, environmental, and quality roles.
• High-level customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Construction Safety Induction ('White Card').
• ICAM lead investigation training.
• Current Driver's License - 'C' Class.
• Strong knowledge of VIC WHS Legislation, Codes, and Standards.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

• Experience in utilities, construction, and/or the resources industry.
• Qualifications in Work Health and Safety (OHS/WHS) and/or Internal Auditing.
• Experience in development, implementation, and continuous improvement of integrated SHEQ management systems.
