About the Role

We are seeking an Aboriginal Cultural Leader to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and their families.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and support to staff and young people, helping to develop connections between local Aboriginal young people and their community.

This role requires a Certificate IV in Aboriginal Primary Health Care or a related discipline, as well as experience in developing and maintaining partnerships with Aboriginal organisations and communities.

As a culturally sensitive and effective communicator, you will be able to engage with Aboriginal people and address their health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and support to staff and young people
  • Develop connections between local Aboriginal young people and their community
  • Work directly with young people to help them access services and opportunities

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal people and their health
  • Experience in developing and maintaining successful partnerships with Aboriginal organisations and communities
  • Certificate IV in Aboriginal Primary Health Care or a related discipline
