About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Anglicare Sydney, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. We're seeking skilled and empathetic Registered Nurses to be part of our dynamic team and contribute to the well-being of our residents.

About You
  • You must be currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Previous experience in aged care or similar healthcare settings is desirable.
  • You should possess strong clinical skills, with the ability to manage complex care needs.
  • A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • You must be able to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Understanding the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence is crucial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to residents, ensuring their health needs are met in accordance with care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with the care team.
  • Provide emotional support and build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with aged care standards and regulations.
  • Lead and mentor care staff to promote best practices in aged care.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.
