About Us
\Catholic Education Tasmania is a community of thirty-eight schools and colleges serving over 17,000 students, their families, and over 2,400 employees across Tasmania.
\We are seeking Teachers Assistants to provide support in various schools from Deloraine, Launceston to George Town.
\Job Description
\The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and deputy principals to create a safe and engaging learning environment for students.
\Responsibilities include:
\- Supporting student outcomes through a service orientation\ \
- Developing and maintaining a school culture that empowers students to think critically and value the search for truth\ \
- Creating and maintaining a positive learning environment\ \
- Participating fully in the life of the school\ \
- Interacting appropriately with colleagues, students, and parents for different purposes and contexts
Requirements
\The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
\- Appropriate qualifications for the position\ \
- A commitment to supporting student outcomes through a service orientation\ \
- An ability to relate to students with varying needs\ \
- An ability to exercise judgment and discretion in undertaking duties\ \
- An ability to use initiative to resolve problems and conflicts constructively
About the Role
\This is an ongoing full-time or part-time opportunity with Catholic Education Tasmania.
\The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
