Job Title: Disability Support Worker

Our organization is seeking empathetic and experienced individuals to support people with disabilities in our Young Adult Day Programs. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be willing to learn new skills, and have a passion for delivering person-centered care. If you are committed to supporting individuals with diverse needs, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide experience-based support to individuals with disabilities
  2. Participate in activities provided to clients, including swimming and assisting clients access the community via public transport
  3. Utilize intermediate computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, client management tools)
  4. Maintain valid First Aid & CPR certification
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Relevant qualification in Disability, Individual Support, Allied Health, Mental Health or working towards it
  2. Auslan skills, or willingness to learn
  3. Experience with Tracheostomy, or willingness to learn
