We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Examinations Coordinator to join our team in Assessment Services. This is a fixed-term role until June 2026.
The Examinations Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the planning, logistics, and results release processes for Divisional Clinical Examination. This includes providing administrative support for examination and committee processes, as well as coordinating the involvement of other team members.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, complex environment and has strong interpersonal skills.
About the RoleThe primary purpose of the Examinations Coordinator is to manage timelines, processes, communications, and documentation to support the coordination and delivery of the examinations. This includes:
- Providing secretariat support to Divisional examination committees and examiner panels
- Coordinating calibration/training sessions and providing support to committees, panels, examiners, and other stakeholders
- Maintaining records of candidate details, applications, and results
- Managing candidate withdrawals, special considerations, and other requests
The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications or experience in administration, excellent planning and organisational skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Manage timelines, processes, communications, and documentation to ensure efficient coordination and delivery of examinations
- Provide administrative support for examination and committee processes, including preparation of agendas and briefs, organising meetings, producing minutes, drafting reports, and correspondence
- Coordinate calibration/training sessions and provide support to committees, panels, examiners, Local Examination Organisers, hospital administrative staff, and other external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of candidate details, applications, and results
- Handle candidate withdrawals, special considerations, and other requests in a timely and professional manner

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent combination of relevant training and/or experience in administration
- Previous experience in an administrative support role in a busy, complex environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others
- Effective planning and organisational skills with ability to manage competing deadlines and high workloads
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, including proofreading skills
- Proven initiative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to deal with sensitive issues and enquiries
