Job Position

We are seeking a skilled Java developer to join our Commodities and Global Markets division, where you will be part of our organisation directly impacting a range of technologies.

As a Java developer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, testing and operating our Trading, Risk, Transaction and Data applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and understand problems to deliver reliable software solutions
  • Design, develop, test and operate Java-based applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives forward
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years' of practical experience coding in Core Java
  • Experience with modern Java functionality and SOLID principles
  • 2+ years' of practical experience with Spring and Spring Boot
  • Understanding of microservices architecture
  • Experience in RDBMS and SQL
  • Experience with SDLC tools (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins, JIRA, GIT, Confluence)
  • Experience using and developing RESTful APIs
  • Experience with cloud technologies in AWS, such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Exposure to front end technologies such as Angular or React
