Job Overview

This position is responsible for developing innovative products and optimizing related processes to meet market demands, safety standards, and profitability goals. The New Product Development Specialist will play a crucial role in driving innovation, quality, and efficiency throughout the product development lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop new products and improve existing ones by leveraging consumer markets and emerging technologies.
  • Implement and maintain safety and quality control procedures both internally and at suppliers' facilities.
  • Select raw materials and other ingredients from approved suppliers based on established criteria.
  • Analyze costs and prepare product costings to ensure profitability.
  • Conduct supplier audits and manage internal audit processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to coordinate new product launches and organize production trials.
  • Investigate customer complaints and resolve product-related issues promptly.
  • Compile, verify, and approve product specifications and labelling to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Drive innovation in packaging technology and materials while ensuring consistency and safety in manufacturing contexts.
