Practice Partner

The role of a Practice Partner is to facilitate high-quality early childhood education and care by providing coaching and advice on quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and coaching support for teaching and learning, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all children.
  • Collaborate with centres in delivering Quality Improvement Plan actions through coaching and modelling.
  • Support the implementation and centre-based improvement of approved learning frameworks, including QRS, NQS, EYLF.
  • Maintain currency and expert knowledge of relevant Child Protection Law matters applicable to the jurisdiction.
  • Work closely with cross-functional specialists to design, implement, and monitor continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education from a recognised university.
  • Extensive and recent practice-based experience in early childhood teacher education.
  • Strong understanding of A&R process and Exceeding Themes.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality training to centre-based teams.
  • Sound knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework and other State based approved/recognised learning guidelines.
