About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team at UGL, specializing in water infrastructure projects. As a key member of our Mechanical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our Selfs Point Sewage Treatment Plant upgrade.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure compliance with technical, quality, and customer requirements.
  • Assist the Project Manager with documentation and compliance to the CDO/UGL Management System.
  • Conduct professional surveys of installations throughout the project, reviewing and accepting results, and coordinating actions.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager and team to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Provide technical support and advice to associated mechanical subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Liaise with design and detailing houses as required.
  • Assist the Project Manager in preparing monthly reports and attending report meetings.
Requirements
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree.
  • Considerable experience in Mechanical Engineering, with significant experience in design, construction, and commissioning on Brownfields and Greenfields projects.
  • Prior sub-contractor management experience and the ability to lead in the completion of key packages.
  • Customer-focused, team-oriented, and accountable.
  • Strong capability to support the business through change management strategies.
  • Aptitude for multi-tasking, excellent organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Skilled at delivering tasks on time and on budget.
  • Sound communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
  • Quality orientation and excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of OHS and Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice, and Standards as they apply to site.
